For the first time this year, we traveled over the Christmas holiday. We went to Oregon to visit both of Josh's grandmothers, his cousin and his family, and his aunt and uncle.
We had a wonderful time. There was snow! Will loved the snow. When our visit was over, we drove down the coast of Oregon, through the redwood forest, to San Francisco. That drive is a perfect display of God's glory and majesty. It is impossible for me to believe that after driving by snowy mountains, trees as big as our living room, waterfalls, black beached ocean flanked by mountains, rolling hills, and sandy beaches, all in one 8 hour trip, you could NOT believe in God or take note of his magnificence.
I want to take this trip again, next time going all the way up to Washington and coming down the coast. It was AMAZING!
Christmas here was a good one, too. We had Christmas Eve with my dad's family and also with Josh's family. Then Christmas morning, after our family, we went to Josh's family's one more time, and then on to my family's celebration.
